I have to admit, one of the things I have been noticing and enjoying lately is what pops up on the 'recently added' page when I first open up deviant art, and that it is pretty consistent from day to day.

a) Sonic the hedgehog fan art. I mean, I love Sonic, prob my fav series of classic video game, but when people start creating new characters, heck, even turning themselves into characters, it creeps me out a little. I dont know, thats just me.

b) Pieces of art that are named in reference to TWILIGHT. Stop that.

c) Pixel art. I just recently discovered this medium, its interesting, and takes me back to the glory days of video gaming. you go pixel art creators

d) 14 yr old girls taking pictures of themselves in the mirror. They picked up a camera to take pics of themselves for MySpace and figured they should display them as art on this site. I'm not hatin' I just notice it a lot and think its funny...

e) anime chicks with cat (or another type animal) ears. Another discovery I have made by joining this site is that anthropomorphic (sp?) art has a HUGE following. I mean, it has its own category for goodness sakes. I hope you're happy Disney, when Nala looked deep into Simba's eyes it touched little boys hearts... and left them deeply confused.
